It’s such a privilege to meet and learn from so many amazing people through this podcast and today’s guest is no exception.  Dixie Crawford is a force to be reckoned with, a self proclaimed rebel and an absolute powerhouse.  She is a Barkindji woman, owner and operator of Source Nation Pty Ltd, a consulting agency offering coaching, group programs and online training to individuals and organisations committed to anti-racism, diversity, inclusion and equity.  Dixie is a big believer in the idea that if we face the hard stuff today, tomorrow will be better.

In this episode, Dixie shares from her life growing up in regional NSW, and how her path led her to where she is today.  We discuss why it’s so important to understand the history of Black people within your own country, personal blind spots when it comes to racism and how you can create change through important conversations.

Dixie talks about the importance of starting with yourself and being authentic in your action and how we all need clarity, confidence and courage to be part of the change.  We all have so much to learn and I hope you find this conversation as enlightening as I did.
