Your Scale Plan For More Revenue & Profit In 2025
Welcome to the first episode of 2025! I hope you’ve had a restful break and are recharged for this exciting new year.
I fully anticipate that you’ve done a lot of planning already, but what you might not have done yet is created a detailed plan for your vision that is rooted in action, getting things done and essentially mapping out your projects.
So today, I’m taking you through the plan that I use with my clients. The reason it works so well is because it allows the opportunity to do really big visioning around what it is that you want.
We’re going to look at things like your revenue goals and getting really clear on your overall objectives for your business for the new year.
1. Mapping Your Financial Aspirations
To kick off the year strategically, we need to become crystal clear about our financial objectives. What’s your revenue ambition for 2025, and more importantly, your profit target? Remember, a revenue goal without a profit plan is just vanity. Outline how much you plan to earn after deducting expenses and ensure you set both business development and impact goals. Understanding where you’ve been and where you’re going is crucial to crafting attainable objectives.
2. The Art of Sales Mapping and Launch Calendars
Next up is your sales mapping and launch calendar. Identify what offers you plan to sell and when. Whether you’re operating on an evergreen model or have specific launch periods, clarity here will enhance your marketing and sales focus, ensuring you know when and how to promote your products.
3.Conducting a S.W.O.T Analysis
Drawing from my years in strategy, a SWOT analysis—Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats—is invaluable in preparing for the business year ahead. Use your strengths to bolster your plans, while honestly assessing weaknesses and setting strategies to overcome them. Acknowledge opportunities and preemptively address threats, turning potential challenges into areas for growth and resilience.

4. Crafting Your Six-Month Strategy
Consider focusing your detailed project planning on just the first six months. Industries evolve, and a 12-month strategy might leave you needing to adapt significantly mid-year. Identify key projects like updates to your marketing or product offerings and ensure they align with your overarching goals.

5. Aligning Your Marketing Strategy
Reflect on what marketing efforts were effective last year and consider your main channels and platforms for 2025. Ensure your content pillars and thought leadership discussions resonate with your audience, establishing you as a trusted authority in your field.
6. Mindset: The Key to Achieving Your Plan
Recognising the intersection of strategy, marketing and mindset is essential for scalable success. Embrace any fears or apprehensions you have around your grand plans. This fear can be a catalyst for growth and change if you control it instead of letting it control you. Picture the leader you need to be and start embodying that identity now.
7. Implementing and Budgeting Successfully
Implementing your plan effectively requires thorough budget reviews, scrutinising your fixed, project, and team expenses. Once your plan is clear, formulating these in a project management tool can make daily tasks and priorities more manageable.
8. Finding Balance as a Business Leader
Finally, envision the calendar and structure that support you best as a CEO. Plan your schedule, holidays, and breaks, so you maintain a healthy work-life balance. Commit to habits that restore and invigorate you personally and professionally.
